We believe the Bible is the written revelation of God and the 66 books of Scripture are in their entirety and are verbally inspired (II Timothy 3:16), infallible, God breathed and (in the original documents) absolutely inerrant (Isaiah 30:8).
We believe in the one and only True God existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each active in creation (Genesis 1:1, 2, 26) and redemption (John 1:1-14). We believe Jesus Christ is fully God (I Timothy 3:16; I John 5:20), and He came in flesh fully Human (I John 4:2, 3; 5:20; II John 1:7) by a virgin (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:25; Luke 1:26-35).
We believe the Bible is the supreme and final authority for faith and practice.
We believe in the vicarious substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross, and His atonement for the sin of the world, efficient for all who repent and believe on Him. We believe He was buried and rose again bodily on the third day (I Corinthians 15:3, 4) and ascended 40 days later to the right hand of the Father, from whence He will personally return for His Church (I Thessalonians 4:16, 17).
We believe in the first fruit resurrection of the Lord Jesus guarantees the future resurrection of all believers (John 11:25; 14:19; Romans 1:4; 1 Corinthians 15:20).
We believe in a “resurrection of judgment” for unbelievers who reject the Gospel.
We teach that salvation is wholly of God by grace through one’s faith in the redemption work of Jesus Christ, the merit of His shed blood and death – not on the basis of human merit or works (John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8-10; I Peter 1:18-19)
We believe in the visible and bodily return of Christ to this earth at the end of Daniel’s 70th Week (The Tribulation; Time of Jacob’s Trouble) to set up His Kingdom and judge the world in righteousness.
We believe that Adam was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26), but through willful sin, he fell. All his human descendants are born with the inherited Adamic sin nature (Romans 5:12) and are under the just condemnation of God (John 3:36) and in need of the Saviour (Acts 4:12) and His New Birth (John 3:3, 7) after reaching the age of accountability.
We believe that salvation from everlasting punishment and entrance into a state of eternal fellowship with God is secured only by a PERSONAL BELIEF that Christ “bore our sins in His own body” on the cross, and by a definite RECEIVING OF CHRIST (John 1:12), through the Person of the Holy Spirit, into one’s inner being. This is to receive eternal life and be sealed unto the Day of Redemption (John 3:3-7; Ephesians 1:13). We believe in the eternal security of the true believer in Christ (John 3:16; 10:27-29; Romans 8:38, 39).
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all who receive Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
We believe the Holy Spirit is responsible for the quickening from death unto life and for the continuing work of sanctification in the believer.
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, a spiritual organism of born-again believers who confess Christ and remember His death in the sacrament of communion.
We believe Christians are to live by the standards set forth in the Word of God to show the world we are different (“sanctified” – “set apart “) from it (II Corinthians 6:14-17).
We believe in the priesthood of the believers (I Peter 2:9), and that God commands each believer to walk in the Spirit, not after the flesh (Galatians 5:16).
We stand firmly against Replacement Theology!
We believe in Creationism as recorded in the Book of Genesis chapters 1 and 2 and do not support the compromised theories of Theistic Evolutionism, the Gap Theory, Progressive Creationism, etc.
We believe Christians are called to witness and preach the Gospel to all people, for God is no respecter of persons and it is not His will that any man should perish (II Peter 3:9).
